So I just thought I'd share this experience with all you women out there.
Can you imagine...
Going to the doctor and having a packed out waiting room. You wait your turn only to find out that the scale you'll be weighed on is right there in the waiting room?!!? What?!?! Sorry but that's just not how things are done, right? Wrong! So you get on the scale and the lady weighs you while all watch and just in case they didn't get a good look while you were on the scale she leaves it showing your weight for the next 15 or so minutes until the next lucky person has their turn. My goodness that is a stressful experience for an American woman!
So a few days later I find out that all the women in the community went to a community meeting. There they weighed EVERYONE and put them into physical groups of "skinny" "normal" "overweight" and "obese"!!! And obese is only 5 kilos over normal or about 11lbs. overweight. Can you imagine that ever happening in Boise? Two VERY different cultures if I do say so myself.

Katie, Dad and I just looked at this again. He was Happy to hear from you today but worried about the cost to you of course. He said after he got off the phone that he wished he had asked about your garden so it was fun to come home and see a picture of your healthy little plants. So sorry you are still sick. I surprised Dad
and came home last night. He was having a hard time thinking that I would only be home for a few hours and then gone for a week again.
We miss you honey.Thank you for taking such tender care of her Elias.
We Love You Both, Dad and Mom xoxoxo
That is so awful, I don't even like to look at my own weight! Hope everything is still going good.
I loaned my scale out to my neighbor so that I wouldn't have to look at my weight either. LOL!
