Fiona

So the other day we got home in the evening (Fiona and Mama) and the neighbors were playing baseball in their yard across the street. Fiona was staring at them with delight. I kept telling her come on Fiona come inside the house but she just kept staring at them. Finally, she says to them as if they can hear her which they can't, "Hi guys, playing ball? I go casa (house), really frio (cold), bye ninos (kids)" waves and comes marching inside. It was the cutest thing :) She was so serious about it too.

Then last night I was putting her PJs on in her room and she asks me where Papa is. I tell her in the living room and she starts calling out "Daddy! Daddy!"...now this is super cute not only because she was calling Elias Daddy but because we have NEVER called him daddy. He has always been Papa or Papi to her. So she tells me she's going to see him and runs in the living room and says very matter of factly "Hi Dad". We both burst out laughing because she has also NEVER called him Dad before.

One last one...today she's really sick so I bought her a Dora doll and Bambi the movie. When I gave them to her she came over and gave me the biggest hug and said "Thank you Mama!" She was so excited and so cute even in the midst of her sickness.

Pray for her to get well soon! She has a really bad cold with runny nose, cough etc. the whole nine yards. Also pray Elias and I don't get sick. Thanks!
