PRAYER!!!

Thank you to all of you who have been praying for Elias and I as we await his upcoming visa appointment. His appointment, August 7th, is one week from today. We are both feeling pretty anxious about it and would really appreciate extra prayer this week. Some specifics to be praying for:
1. That Elias will receive his visa without any hang ups or problems.
2. That he can receive his visa on Friday or Saturday so that he won’t have to stay over the weekend in Ciudad Juarez.
3. For SAFETY while in Ciudad Juarez and traveling.
4. That there won’t be any hidden costs that we can’t afford.
5. For all of his travel arrangements such as taxi to and from hotel, hotel where he will stay, flights etc.
6. For the appointment itself, that the people will be courteous to Elias and that Elias will not be stressed, frustrated, upset, or overwhelmed.
7. For Katie while she waits at home to hear how things go.

We are asking that you pass on these prayer requests to anyone who would be willing to pray for us. Thank you again!!!

Also, I, Katie, am doing the Vacation Bible School (my own version of it that is) at our church this week. Please pray that it will go well and that the children will be open to learning about Jesus. Pray for me to be able to make it interesting for them and that I won’t have any language issues that would impede the children’s learning. They tell me that there will be some other people there to help out so pray that they actually show up and are helpful.
