Semana Santa

Hello everyone,

Sorry we haven't posted for awhile. We have been so busy getting ready for Semana Santa (Holy Week) here. It is the biggest season for trout sales. We had several hundreds of people come within a few days to buy trout and hang out by the lake. The zip line we put up was a hit too. I'll post some pictures eventually. Miss you all very much!

Hey guys!
Things are going pretty good here. Even the difficult moments have been very good experiences for me. As far as the spanish goes... I am understanding more of what is going on around me, and that is awesome. If people are talking to me about something specific then I totally track, but when there are a bunch of people having a conversation around me...I'm still mostly in my own world. I am feeling better now. I have lost 15 pounds (I wouldn't recommend my method though). But I certainly haven't lost weight because of the food. For one, Elias was right...the food is pretty awesome here...except their tamales...and for another thing, the mom, Conchita is quite certain that I am going to die of starvation and she keeps trying to feed me ALL THE TIME. Is Toby still a snot machine? I miss that dog. I love you guys, and miss you. I'm bummed that I am not going to be in Boise when you are...I guess that means that I will have to come visit you again in Mexico.
